the wreck

i borrowed this camera from a friend who got it from a fleamaerket in london recently. he actually was jealous of my olympus pen eed and thought this would make the race. no way. the light meter is broken as expected after such a long time and so is the frame counter which is really confusing when having 72 frames. i tried to turn the counter ring manually after each shot, but i wasted one third of the film. i rewinded it before it was finished. for shooting without automativ light meteing there was the only option to set the aperture on manual (flash) and light measure with an external light meter. the fixed shutter speed is set onto 1/40 which means quite slow. the manual for good reason wants the photographer to hold the breath when shooting. i shot most of the frames at the airport, which came out quite nice with all the rushing ghosts.
