    I absolutely love seeing people's EBS experiments and had to try it myself, but oh my goodness it went so badly it was painful. Half way through shooting the second half I gave up and took out the divider and just shot the rest of the roll as redscale. So on the plus side this is my first homemade redscale and I'm pleased with it. Surprised at the range of tones and bright orangeness in places but not bad at all. The EBS half of the film was just as much of a disaster as I thought...ah well...

    Have you ever wondered what happens when you expose color film -2 stops, process first with Rodinal 1:100 for 10 minutes then continue with c41 developer for usual time (without pushing), bypass bleaching and only fix as usual? Tell you what, this happens.

    Never do things in a haste is the learning out of thie development process. Just a quick roll - guests expecting in two hours for a nice football evening (England vs Germany); sufficient time to complete two rolls (one 120 and one 35mm). Only if everything runs well though. I did not get the 120 roll into the reel; after 20 minutes I pushed it somehow in. The hands became sweaty in the changing bag and the emulsion got sticky. The second 35mm went in without problems. The results one can see - destroyed emulsion, cracks and more - film soup by accident. However; I scanned them in as colour film (it was an ORWO NP 22 black and white) and got some interesting and strange outcome - almost like a Metropolis. Developed in expired TMax BW developer. By the way: Germany lost 1:2 against England - "It never rains here it is just pouring down!" (Mark Knopfler)

    Film soup usually uses color stock, but I wanted to try it with a black and white film. I submerged a Fomapan 100 roll into a mixture of Coca-Cola, ginger tea, and detergent. And although we don't have any psychedelic results, the destruction of the film by the end makes me very proud. How do you like these results?

    The Harman Phoenix 200 is a cool film concept, and I may try it again. Make sure you understand how to use it…and more importantly, make sure you or your lab know how to scan it. Weird results on mine but hey.
