Vienna woman
I met this woman in Vienna. I was sitting outside on the hostel terrace and she asked for a euro. I didn’t have one, but she still sat down with me. In broken German from both sides, we conversed. She laughed at my old camera that was sitting on the table, and I asked her to take her picture. I love that the photo reflects how relaxed she was. This is why I prefer to talk to people first, see the human, rather than ambushing them with a photo. The way she decided to pose for the camera reflects how she thinks she is at her best - and to me that’s worth more than a spontaneous photo.
