«The Shadow of the Leader of the Red Revolution»

Monument to V.I. Lenin was installed in 1950 in the lively center of Dmitrov, on Sovetskaya Square. Sculpture of V.I.Lenin in Dmitrov became one of the many analogues of the monument of the sculptor N.V. Tomsk, which was originally installed at the entrance to St. Petersburg. Similar monuments can be seen in many Russian cities.
