At the fleamarket today I found two boxes of slide mounts, one of the boxes was marked ''Austria April 1973'' and the other ''Lago Maggiore May 1974''. I was excited to see that the holiday slides were still there and figured I could have some fun with this. My initial thought was to build something nice for my home, but then I got another idea... The first box contained shots from a winter holiday in the Austrian mountains, the second was a summer holiday at Lake Maggiore in Switzerland, and both boxes had an equal amount of slides (20) inside... What would it look like if I re-mounted the slides two-by-two, one from each box, and scanned them as doubles? Now we know... =) Side note: I wanted the results to be a surprise, so I picked the shots randomly, only taking into consideration if the shots were in landscape or portrait format...
