Another Canon, a FT of 1967 Vintage, with 55mm F/1.2, and Clean Hard Case...

Bought on eBay something I don't need. Found a Canon FT of 1967 vintage in parts, body US$27, f/1.2 55mm lens US$100, case US$12, shipping ~US$20. Everything works, light meter is a stop down spot meter and hard to use. The lens is clean, only very slightly dented, and NOT radioactive. Canon's 58mm f/1.2 of 1965 has thorium glass and is an alpha emitter. Up until the 1970's, many lens makers used thorium oxide glass, the highest refractive index, lowest dispersion glass there is. The Soviets didn't do this, even being careful to use the most stable isotope of lanthanum in the Industar 61 L/D.
