The sun was shining so bright this morning and for a moment there, I thought of summer. These shots were taken at Ava's birthday party for her 4th birthday last August. We had a pool party and thanks goodness that was the case because it was just so hot that day!
I wanted to do something a little different from the regular 'Spring has sprung' album, so I used a mask taped into the back of my trusty Pentax P50 for a kind of vintage feel.
Perhaps you have already heard of the "LomoWochenende 2014", which will take place in June 2014 in Kassel (Germany). As its name implies, it will be a whole weekend full of meeting other lomographers, workshops, photography, fun and more!
I am part of the team, who is organizing this weekend and so I travelled to Kassel last weekend to meet @frauspatzi, @stellastellar, @thegrump and @trash-gordon-from-outer-space. This was the first time meeting other lomographers! I was kind of upset! :)
All in all it was a a little exhausting but great weekend. We regulated a lot of stuff and had time to learn about Kassel. For sure everybody brought his favorite cameras and so these are not the only photos of the weekend.

Had to do some tech service for a lecture; typically do. Switched mid roll from my FT2 over to my F3 when I found a spider in my room. >.> little blurry needed more light; but I wanted to try out my new DW-4.
I had only shot one testroll with the Nikon F2 my dad gave to me 2 years ago, after this one: http://www.lomography.com/homes/sweetyyydreams/albums/1877285-test-roll-nikon-f2-and-macro which gave me nice results, and since I'm traveling to India in a few days for a friend's wedding and some holidays, and I really wanted to take the Nikon F2 with me, I decided to take it out for a second testroll, this time with color film, to make sure I can properly handle it!
I'm quite satisfied with the results, and now I'm oh so excited to shoot with it in India!
I'm back to lomography! Due to some annoying reasons stop me for shooting, so insane...well, not sure about over-exposed but it's okay. Way to go :)

...and then the sun disapeared behind a mountain in El Escorial and Elena was in the shade. I pulled an Agfa RS out of my bag and hoped to push some light and contrast into portraits. nope. well It cannot always go well. learned something, once more...
I really wanted to go and see all those vineyards commissioned by "starchitects" - Calatrava, Gehry ...

This is the first time I started drooling the second my scanned pics appeared on screen. Truly an amazing match: petzval lens, plenty of sunshine and a roll of Fuichrome T64!

it's an ambivalent thing with old shots but just because i was looking for some shots for an article i wrote about my 17 years of lomography (http://www.lomography.com/magazine/lifestyle/2013/12/23/lomographic-milestones-it-all-started-17-years-ago) i found some that look pretty nice i think or are somehow not too bad ;) here are some shots from corse.
