Claudi and Annosz were two incredible, yet unexpected, surprises in my Berlin days. I got to know them little by little but we ended up building a really strong friendship, based on mutual respect and support. Before I left the city, to celebrate all the hilarious times we shared, we organised a photo session in their favourite area of Berlin, the underappreciated Wedding (then we went to Mauerpark where a friend of ours, Sergio, was waiting for us). After few shots they started feeling really comfortable with the camera and got in the diva mood (Beyoncè rendition? they were the biggest fans of a celebrity I have ever met!). Making cyanotypes is a wonderful craft and is surprisingly easy. The fun thing is you don't have to limit yourself to paper prints. You can make cyanotypes on all kinds of surfaces! Here's how I made a simple cyanotype tote bag.
LC-A+ meets stars.
First tried stellar lomography wth LC-A+. Valve photography. Exposed for 20 minutes. Lomography X-Pro100 (Cross processed). Really tough challenge in minus 15 degrees, but I enjoyed a lot.
Inspired through the great lightpainting shots of @ck_berlin I thought I might give it another try. I used our basement and was hoping that no one of the neighbours would come down there and ruin the shots. I used sparklers, Fritz the Blitz, a flash light and an ipad app called "MyLightPaint".

I was fortunate enough to be in Toronto recently during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and caught the screening of Iceman. The film Iceman is based on the biography of Richard Kuklinski, a convicted mafia hitman. The cast was in attendance for this screening at the Princess of Wales Theater. In some of the photos, you may be able to pick out Winona Ryder, Michael Shannon, Ray Liotta, etc.
