Tarde en la que visitamos Escuaín y el valle de Pineta todo nevadito! Nos lo pasamos muy bien disfrutando de la nieve, si es que somos como niños. =D
Utilicé el X Tungsten y creo que no fue muy buena elección... y las fotos no reflejan lo bonito que era el paisaje.
i´m so so relieved that i can take great shots with this cam!!! anyway i still don´t know the secret of it. i will now switch the lens and try to do the same things i did with this roll: pull the bellows really hard to the end, use a tripod. i guess all of you that already took great and sharp shots didn´t always use a tripod but amazingly i took 5/6 with a tripod and the only one without is blurry. btw: @LSI next time you produce a new cam pls leave me a personal message so i can tell you upfront things you have to consider concerning tripod socket thread, release, viewer,… - it´s my 2nd roll and i used a tripod for 5 shots and already a screw went through the hole in the aluminium and therefore it´s already warped :(((

Testing the Rollei Vario Chrome - I had 2 rolls, thanks to @pinar434 and I was thinking cross processing first and then going E6 with the second, but with these results, I'll go xpro for the 2nd for sure!!
This summer I used for the first time the Rollei Vario Chrome film. Rated a 320 iso. I love the warm and creamy color rendition! It's a pity that my scanner added so much grain to the images!

Exposing both sides of the film (EBS).
I shot on correct(normal) side first in a sunny/bright day, at ISO400(ISO800 film inside). Below half of the lense was masked with a splitzer. After finished a roll, reverse the film (in a dark-room). Then start shooting on redscale side in a cloudy/rainy day, at ISO200. Upper half was masked with a splitzer. The order of each location is precisely the same as 1st shots. I took notes in details about locations and shot all places with iPhone, to remember locations. Need patience, concentration, and accuracy for this challenge. Plus must be careful with 'gaps' between frames. I felt like I knew her now, at least as well as one could. She was sensitive yet easy to be with, not the fickle, high maintenance girl I'd imagined. She always forgave my clumsiness. I understood that she had others, she gave her love so freely, so innocently, that I couldn't be jealous. I was happy to visit them and try and catch a glimpse of her. After all I knew, somewhere in the back of my mind, that she was as transient as life itself, and when she was gone, she would be gone forever.
