   I barely see El Caminos in the States, much less my imagination of any part of Europe.

   In 70's and 80's we got pretty much El Caminos and other american pickups to Finland because pickups had lower taxes than regular cars. So back then if you wanted american car with V8 it was cheaper to buy pickup. I think nowadays it has changed and pickups have same tax level than regular cards. @neufotomacher
