Nice series! ...and interesting, that the Sony lens fitted on Minolta Dynax. Must test it!

sony dt 18-70 lens perfectly working for Minolta Dynax cameras
( 7xi,9xi,600,700,800,7,9 ).
there are no hot spots and other anomalies especially in 18 mm focal length,and aperture f8. Lens Hood is necessary because of flares.
