@charliedontsurf I love the motion in this picture - one can almost feel the flapping wings. For how long did you expose?

@rolfmg the Nikon em is fully automatic except for one shutter speed of 1/90 sec. I used the 1/90 for this one because pointing near the sky tends to cause underexposure when in automatic mode. I took two other shots of the same scene before the birds flew over, they took me by surprise a bit. I like the motion too and the grain in the sky which I brought out with a bit of a burn. Thanks.

Excellent, there's a feeling of something a bit foreboding here, the broken windows add a lot to it.

@malcolm_tremain yes, you can't really go wrong with a bit of dereliction, thanks.

@charliedontsurf I'm glad the birds showed up again. Your constant companions. I like these shots when the grain is apparent in the sky. That is almost signature for you and this film. And, again, you avoid references which might date the shot which gives that timeless quality that I admire. Derelict buildings are mandatory!

@mike1allison I really strive to create that anytime in the last century thing a lot of the time, thanks for noticing and appreciating it:)
