a few selections from a roll of tri x. I shot these with my nikon f and a my zeiss 180 f 2.8 and a 2x converter to give a 360mm focal length . It has no aperture blades so i have to shoot it wide open which explains the softness but i don't dislike that, surprisingly the contrast doesn't seem to suffer too much. Most of these are full frames, not cropped, its amazing the reach of a long telephoto. I shot everything off the harbour wall in Newquay, the beach here is popular with beginners and intermediate surfers so nothing too radical was happening out in the water but nevertheless i was still happy with the way a few of the frames turned out, nothing I'm that inspired to print though lol.!

@charliedontsurf Great! I love the details and textures in this shot-right down to the honest wear on the board. I picked up a telephoto a few weeks back for 15 dollars. Had a blade missing. Funny thing is the shots look fine. I figured I can always shoot close to wide open but my cameras really don't seem to care. LOL. One of the few T-mount cameras I have that work well with a Nikon adapter. You just have to make it work, right!?!

@mike1allison thanks, if only this lens was able to stop down lol.! My example is a bit of a mystery, its an earlyish one, 1950s I think and has a nikon F mount which was never offered as far as I can tell although it is very professionally done which makes me wonder if it is some kind of prototype. It was designed by Zeiss especially for the Berlin games which is why they call it the Olympic lens.
I shot another roll at the weekend in flat grey light with some pc1 at 200iso. I abandoned any thoughts of sharp shots so shot for motion blur, panning the camera with the subjects. A 360mm lens at 1/60 to 1/125 sec, as you say you just have to make it work. Breaking every rule in the book. I'll post a couple of them later.
