   @ropi From what I can diagnose, it's the battery compartment. Any amount of pressure along the battery compartment, cuts the power from the meter. Examples, tripod, 3/4 strap, bracing the bottom of the camera. I overlooked the issue since an auxiliary lens and finder had been attached. Then I noticed some blank rolls while developing film.
