   I just rewatched Millennium Mambo and if I'm not mistaken this is the Zhongshan Bridge right? Beautiful shot.

   I'm visiting Taiwan by the end of March, excited to see this one! And every Edward Yang spots and Meteor Garden filming locations 😅

   @kerwinmallari Welcome！His movies are very artistic and provide a nostalgic portrait of the past. "That Day on the Beach", "A Brighter Summer Day", "Yi Yi", reminds me of my college days watching them 😂

   If you like his movies, you might also like the “Super Citizen" series from Wan Jen. He is not as famous as Edwand Yang and Hou Hsiao-hsien worldwide, but he makes movies with a similar taste, and also with the realism shared among them.

   Maybe you can give them a try, and you will find more interesting places to visit when you come.

   @jouskaa thank you so much for the recommendation, I'll definitely check this out, in fact I already added it on my letterboxd watchlist, hopefully I can scour and find a copy online. I'm an avid fan of the New Wave movement in Taiwanese Cinema, mainly because the said worldview isn't far from what I encounter on a daily basis here in the Philippines, but I have to admit that I've only seen the works of Edward Yang and Hsiao-hsien 😅 btw if you could recommend me some beautiful places to go to in your country that aren't commonly seen on blogs/vlogs, I'd appreciate it immensely.
