   I adore this shot, it was my favourite from the book. The slight tilt of the camera, the pose of the figure bookended by the hens and that blown out background like he stepped of a spaceship! Sublime.

   @charliedontsurf - Oh, thank you Simon. Hands down that was the roughest morning of last year. I had to make it count for the crew, but with atmosphere like that, how can you really fail? The tilt of the camera in this one smarts a little, it was not intentional as I was putting down my shovel to take pictures. I made the in the moment error of composing from the front, which results for me almost 100% of the time in a crooked horizontal. It was dodgy shooting and treacherous breathing in there! E. had a full on asthma attack. I'm so glad I brought the camera in there, though. An hour never to be duplicated.

   @redredgray the tilt of the camera adds drama to the shot, I like it in photos especially when like in this one there isn't a horizon to clash.
