This is what I see today

August 14th 2018 — I have been so used my whole life at seeing concrete everywhere, I realise today how ubiquitous it is in my country and how blinded I was to its presence. I, born in 1966, have been raised at its presence. This I realise today. Today I started seeing it.
I see how Italy has begun crumbling under our feet during these last few years because everything has been built on one single ingredient, this concrete that is now reaching its end-of-life.
Today we start paying for that '60s boom, made of scams, deception and false promises cemented by the utter negligence of what has been built since, piece by piece.
Is this the beginning of goodbye?
