Hi @neufotomacher , the 8 Uhr Abendblatt (8 o'clock evening paper) was the first evening newspaper in Berlin and was the first to report on events that had become known by noon. This was particularly important in 1915 and 1916, as the official army reports of the Austrian army on new developments in the First World War, which were always published at noon, could still be recorded. Kind Regards, Ralph

@neufotomacher my grandfather was an artist and worked as a lithographer at night so that he could study at the academy of arts during the day. During the war, his captain sent him to the high command in Macedonia. there he was a map drawer. this photo is part of a Lomography album from my grandpa. there you see the photographers & pilots. they took photos and the draftsmen turned these photos into maps.
