Discobolus Neos

One of my series of Glass, Wood, Paper Stone. A in-camera 4x5 silver gelatin coated wood plate. Shot the classic greek pose of Myron's disk thrower. Sometimes a negative works wonders. I always appreciate negatives for their purity. Little can be cheated, tweaked and changed. I mounted the plate on a piece of canvas that I painted black, then framed in an old wooden gem of a frame I found around the house. Framing your work from time to time is a wonder, it gives the piece so much more purpose and importance once it stands proud on its altar.

@srcardoso Right?! It's so important. Seeing it in various contexts, from different distances in different lights. I love it
