Los Roques De Garcia

When you pull-up to the site of Los Roques De Garcia there are three paths you can follow. Immediately in front of you there is a viewing area which over looks the crater of the super-volcano. On the right you have the large stone structures protruding from the volcanic floor of the national park (this is "Los Roques De Garcia"). On the left is another set of tall stones/hills which allow you to view the viewing area & Los Roques De Garcia from an elevated platform. This is the view of Los Roques De Garcia from atop of the stairs which have been cut in to the rock of the hill neighbouring these enormous stone structures. It's hard to convey the size of these up-ended rocks, but the ant-like people in this picture go some way to showing just how BIG this place is/was.
