I think the word 'passionate' is over-used.
I am very old and mutter a lot.
There is no Quality Control here: all the photographs are just straight out of developing and straight on the site. Even the dud ones.
Note to self: need to keep my finger out of the way, remember to set the right ASA and get the bloody focus right.
