Pillsbury Building II

Winter in the city - hand-rolled redscale Fuji Velvia. I hadn't actually intended to redscale my velvia, but it got mixed up inside my rolling bag. Since it is a slow film, it required a TON of sunlight to develop properly. I like how intensely red everything turned out. It really warms up the view considering that they day I took these, it was -15 degrees Fahrenheit.

Nice results, love the intense colours from the Velvia, looks incredible redscale!

@mjanekerr Thanks! I was really upset when I realized I had redscaled my precious velvia. I didn't want to risk messing up the film further, so I shot it as-is and processed E6. The film is extremely red sensitive, and doesn't need special processing to get these deep reds. It needs to be shot at ISO 25, and requires very very bright sun.

Brilliant, thanks @honeygrahams224 , good to know - I've got a few expired Velvia 50, but maybe that might be just tooo slow as redscale, if you had to shoot 100 at ISO 25, but may give it a go if there's a bright enough day :)

@mjanekerr you would have to shoot at ISO 15. Winter is a good time to shoot! The UV light is actually brighter due to less atmospheric haze.
