Flat Stanley Takes a Dip

A stroll through the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory in St. Paul with some Lomography Redscale!. The Como Zoo and conservatory are owned by the city of St. Paul, and are free and open to the public (donations at the door are appreciated). Many of the buildings were made as WPA projects during the 1930s. The Conservatory features a Japanese Garden whose construction was overseen by St. Paul's sister city, Nagasaki Japan. Several of the photos feature pictures of bronze sculptures by Harriet Frishmuth. "Crest of the Wave" - Bronze sculpture created in 1925, and located in the Palm Dome. Some other photographs are of "Play Days" - bronze sculpture, located in the Sunken Garden.

@streuobst He must get around! The original Flat Stanley is a children's book character. He used to be a normal boy until he got smushed flat. ;-)
