The F***ing Kmart

Some pictures from my old neighborhood in Minneapolis just before we moved to Chicago. It was still snowing heavily in late March and early April, and we managed to miss a big snowstorm the weekend after we left. The giant mouse sculpture is in Wisconsin, I believe somewhere near the Black River Falls exit.

    What year was this picture taken? The last KMART in my area closed shop about 2 months ago.

    @neufotomacher - It's modern, unfortunately. This is literally the epicenter of crime and vice in the neighborhood. I saw gunshots in the parking lot once - you should look up the Nicollet Ave Kmart in Minneapolis, and how much of an urban planning disaster it was.

    That's terrible. I don't associate violent crime with Minnesota.
