I am a historian (univ-lehavre.academia.edu/JeanNoelCastorio).
And that's certainly the reason why I like so much that my photographs look like the old pictures on glass plates from the beginning of the last century that you sometimes find on the shelves of flea markets.
One day, I would have to find the time to write a history of nostalgia… In the meantime, I shoot with old cameras found at auctions on ebay. My preference is for Soviet models from the 50s-70s (Zorki, Kiev, Fed, Zenit, etc.). But there is nothing like the Spinner 360° or the Lomo Instant to have fun…
