   When I was in Taiwan in 1999 I drank a lot of Taiwan Beer. Ah, good times.

   That was also the first (and last) time I spent a night chewing betel nut. That part wasn't as good as all the beer.

   I remember being in a dark dirty bar frequented by sailors, workmen and foreign english teachers near the harbor up in Kelung at some point in the night. The rest of the night is very blurry.
