Diana always makes me feel frustrate :(

Why my photos of velvia are always dark pink?
I would prefer the light pink :(

It looks like maybe the wrong processing, This film is designed for processing by Process E-6 or
its equivalent, as well as Fujifilm Process CR-56 or maybe your using a red or rose filter ?

Most of the photos taken by velvia 100f I've seen are light pink.
I think maybe it's not enough light?
I don't know..the film is not develop by myself, but I didn't used filter. :)

Great album! As for the pinks, I would suggest it's maybe slight underexposure in some as you thought, but Lomo cameras such as the Diana create quite strong vignetting so the pinks will always be darker around the edge. Some of Troch's Astia shots with the Holga, for example, are dark pink around the edge but completely bleached out in the middle. For a more even, lighter tone I would suggest a camera with a glass lens, like the Lubitel, and to over expose slightly. But for what it's worth I love the darker pinks. :D

hi albeelee. Did you scan the negs with a film scanner, or are these prints the lab gave you? It has been my experience that the people at the lab can really over do things. "Cross-processing" is "playtime" for them and they like to saturate & exaggerate color. The first time I cross-processed Velvia, it looked like they'd dipped my photos into a paint bucket of magenta. I hated the results. But then I scanned the film, and my photos were beautiful. If I didn't have a scanner I wouldn't have known, and I probably would never have used Velvia again....I'll send a link to that album.

the prints was from the lab, so I thing the problems is from the lab.

Albeelee and @grazie Why don't you take your negatives back to the lab and ask for prints from the film with "no color adjustments". It would be very interesting to see what you get...

I can't feel your frustated, because I had the same way too with my over exposure horizon perfekt sky color. At first I thought it lab process mistaken. But after share it at Bandung Indonesian Lomo group, I had the reply that lot of people get the normal result from the same lab photo, which mean the over exposure was my mistake. Since that I'm being a freak, trial & always error till now my money near end :) I have already use UV filter, but it doesn't work :) But I will try it again soon as I get the money.
