Red ones

not sure what happned here... if you guess know let me know as I don't like that red color that much

    Odd, the red. Are the negatives red like that? Or was it just the scanning that crveated the red in them? It looks like it's just in the really intensely dark areas. Could be bad film, bad chemicals, not developed at the right temps or right times, who knows. It's fun, this kind of wierd thing, as long as it doesn't keep happening.

    @alienmeatsack: great question and I think the answer has to be an nice mix of everything you listed :)
    it happens every now and again but mostly for the 35mm film but I just finished a roll of 120 film that has some of it too but not as extreme as these

    Are you processing your own film? Was the 120 film from Fuji as well? Curiouser and curiouser. I think it's a processing thing mixed with underexposed negatives. I have LOTS of Fuji 200 to play with and want to replicate this for kicks, lol. It looks a lot like a cross processing vibe almost but in some ways looks like someone went nuts with your tone curve in your photo editing app. Fun results regardless of if they were intentional. This is the only mention I found online about it and his results are WAY toned down in the blacks = reds area:
