  Dinorwic Quarry is an old Welsh Slate Quarry in Snowdonia that closed at the end of the 1960's. When it was up and running it was one of the largest quarries in the world.

  The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct carries the Llangollen Canal as it passes over the wide River Dee Valley between Llangollen and Wrexham in North-East Wales. The aqueduct runs from Trevor, landing at Fontcysyllte on the Southern end. If you happen to be in North-East Wales then it's definitely worth walking over, or under!

Race for Life takes place across the country and the idea is that you run to raise money for cancer research ("http://www.raceforlife.org/":http://www.raceforlife.org/). Race for Life has grown to become the biggest woman only fundraising event and is open to women of all ages and all levels of fitness.

  El Acueducto Pontcysyllte lleva el Canal de Llangollen a su paso por el amplio Valle del río Dee entre Llangollen y Wrexham en el noreste de Gales. El acueducto se extiende desde Trevor, aterrizando en Fontcysyllte en el extremo sur. Si te encuentras en el noreste de Gales, entonces vale la pena que pasees sobre el acueducto o debajo de él!
