Cappadocia is a historical region of Asia Minor, lying in the geographical center of this vast peninsula. The name of a region called Cappadocia comes from the Persian language, in which the word katpatuka translates as 'land of beautiful horses'. It has retained its name to this day.

Not an easy task to describe such an irresistible and magic landscape in the middle of Turkey.. to some it might sound familiar to imagine what is meant when we mention Cappadocia( Katpatuka, the land of the beautiful horses)it is a wide rocky plateau where people used to live there since ancient times. Mostly in caves that where built in the mountains or even in caves underground like in Derinkuyu or Kaymakli.
