近年來非常火紅的侯硐小鎮，因為有數量非常多的貓咪在這邊棲息，再加上以前這個地方產煤，有許多的礦坑遺跡、以及翠綠的登山步道，更重要的是這個地方鄰近臺北，搭乘火車的話只需要一個小時的車程就可以到達，不管是家人帶小孩來踏青、還是三五好友來這邊度過假日玩耍都很棒。
