로모그래피

Seguro que alguna vez has tenido la sensación de que una foto, simplemente, salió exactamente como querías. // Ever had the feeling that a picture came out in the very same way that you conceived it?

Saqué esta foto en un bar. Cuando entré al baño y vi las paredes rojas y el urinario blanco ahí en medio, tuve que salir a por la cámara y hacer la foto (ya, ya sé que es imperdonable que no entre SIEMPRE con la cámara en el baño, como cualquier buen lomógrafo debe hacer, pero es que a esas alturas de la noche ya había bebido un poco).

Cuando la escaneé varias semanas después, al verla, simplemente tuve la sensación de que era exactamente lo que había imaginado. Salió tal cual la vi en mi cabeza al entrar en aquel baño.

Además, creo que es muy lomográfica por varias razones:

• Los colores son saturados (ese rojo no deja otra opción) y el contraste con el blanco del urinario es genial.
• Tiene ese viñeteado de la LC-A que todos adoramos.
• El motivo es mundano, trivial y algo sucio, tres cualidades que siempre funcionan en una lomografía.
• La hice estando borracho (eso siempre es un plus).

Así que, aunque no está teniendo mucho éxito en likes ni comentarios (por cierto, gracias a los que ya la habéis visitado), le dedico esta entrada de blog porque estoy muy orgulloso de ella.

A veces, simplemente, sientes “Ya lo tengo”.

I took this picture in a bar. As I was going into the bathroom, I saw those red walls and that urinary in the middle of nothing, and I had to turn back to take my camera with me and shot the photo (yes, I know that a good lomographer is supposed to carry ALWAYS his camera whit him whenever he goes to a bathroom in a bar, but by that time of the night I was a little bit… drunken).

When I scanned the picture a few weeks later, I just had the feeling that it was exactly what I wanted to get.

Moreover, I think that it is a very lomographic picture because of several reasons:

• The colors came out very saturated and the contrast between the red and the bright white is gorgeous!
• It has that wonderful LC-A vignetting we all are in love with.
• The subject is mundane, trivial and even a bit dirty, three attributes that always work in a lomographic picture.
• I was a bit drunken when I took it (it’s a plus).

So, although it is not being quite successful in terms of ‘likes’ or comments (BTW, thanks to all of you who have already liked it), I decided to devote this blog entry to that photo, because I feel really proud of it. Sometimes, you just feel “I got it”.
