My shot of the year was taken during the late summer in Orlando, Florida, over a vacation to Walt Disney World.
My lomo journey started in August last year, where I finally ordered the LC-Wide. With its impressive 17mm lens and classic vintage lomography design, I was itching to start shooting. After a few films worth of practice around the suburbs of Surrey and the streets of London I took a family vacation to Florida.

For ‘My Photo Shot of The Year’ I loaded the always brilliant Lomography Redscale XR 50-200. I was at the Magic Kingdom Theme Park, where I was lucky enough to find a moment without a crowd of people around the Castle. I first took a shot of people outside the castle, and then double exposed the shot when there was nobody around. With the sun shining bright in the sky, the cloud exposure swamping the castle, and the faded people and castle towers, it creates a dreamlike fantasy atmosphere within the shot. If you like this shot you can find it in my ‘disney’ album.
